METALASER came up with and developed this packaging for large size slabs made of galvanised sheet metal featuring numerous advantages:

FAST | The packaging is transportable by forklift on both sides (horizontally and vertically) which eases the stage of loading/unloading from the packaging machinery, lorries and containers;

EASY | The packaging is equipped with lateral hooks for lifting via crane and overhead crane;

UNIQUE | No specific handling tools are required in that the storage of the slabs is in vertical position;

STRONG | Extremely durable due to its construction in galvanised sheet metal, more robust than wooden packaging which is subject to expansion due to cold/heat, humidity and salinity of marine transport;

ESSENTIAL | The packaging created by METALASER is reusable.

FLATBEDS FOR LARGE SIZE SHEETS

The The flatbeds designed by METALASER allow the transport and storage of one or more large size ceramic slabs with maximum dimensions of 1600 mm x 3200 mm;
The flatbed has an iron structure which replaces the normal use of the wooden flatbed and offers significant technical advantages:

higher resistance to movements of sheets of enormous weight, thanks to the carefully crafted iron structure;
economic advantages linked to the reuse of the flatbeds over time;
stacking of the flatbeds made possible thanks to the precise mechanical processing that ensures maximum stability;
transportability with forklift trucks or automated shuttles: transport is possible up to 5 flatbeds;
